Although the fishing on the Kharlovka, Litza & Rynda is simply excellent the level of service and extensive use of helicopters will make it prohibitively expensive for some. New for 2010 is the introduction of both a limited helicopter programme and the Tundra Adventure Walking Programme. These trips are substantially cheaper than the full helicopter weeks and provide an excellent means of fishing three of the foremost Salmon Rivers in the world. The rivers
There are few rivers which have quite the kudos of the Atlantic Salmon fishing on offer at both the Kharlovka & Litza Rivers. The Litza is frequently referred to as the ultimate Salmon River consisting of waterfalls, gorge and huge Salmon. The Kharlovka River fished in conjunction with the Litza is the location of the main camp has one of the best home pools in existence and an equal share of 30-40lb + Atlantic Salmon. The Rynda could be likened to an exquisite medium sized Scottish Highland River. Home of Peter Power, founder of the Atlantic Salmon Reserve and catering for just 12 guests it is a fishing lodge where exclusivity is combined with simply outstanding service. The river has very strong runs of sizeable MSW Salmon up to and beyond 40lbs whilst being augmented by an equally healthy runs of grilse. Norway fishing holidays
Second only to the Alta in terms of reputation the Namsen has some truly magnificent fishing and fly-water. One of the most powerful rivers in Norway it also has a reputation for providing some of the largest fish. In 2004 it produced a salmon of 53 lbs.

One of the most widely known rivers in Norway and for very good reason. The Gaula is a medium to large river with very healthy runs of Atlantic Salmon. During the early season the average salmon weight can be as much as 22lbs whilst in July the Salmon range from 15-22lbs. With a rotational beat system in operation anglers get to experience the fishing over a wide range of pools and runs all ideally suitable for the fly-fisherman.

The Orkla River is one of Norway’s best salmon rivers and the stretch at Aunan provides some of the most enchanting fly-fishing water available. If the river is seductive then the same can be said for the surroundings in equal measure. Nestled into a tranquil but steeply sloped valley, surrounded by mature woodland and well kept farms and secluded from major roads or railways this is as much a retreat as it is a great salmon river.

The River Mourne is believed to be one of the best salmon rivers in Europe and the famous "Snaa" beat produces more salmon per year than many well known beats elsewhere in Britain and Ireland. lively streams with deep fish holding pools amidst superb wild Irish scenery. There are eight miles of angling water on the Eriff divided into nine beats, all of which are under the central control of the Western Regional Fisheries Board. The fishing is uncrowded with only 2 rods on most beats and a maximum of 3 on the remainder. Although primarily a Grilse fishery the recent abolition of drift nets in Ireland has helped boost the size of salmon running the system.
