Russia Fishing: experience the last undiscovered wilderness of fly fishing
Russia holds some of the world's last undiscovered wild cold water fisheries left in the world. Rivers such as the Ponoi, still have the healthiest runs of Atlantic Salmon left anywhere on the planet and the fishing on the Kamchatka Peninsula for trophy sized rainbow trout and Pacific salmon is exceptional.
The Zhupanova River is located on the Eastern coast of the Kamchatka peninsula. This fragile system houses some of the largest rainbows in the world and they can easily reach ten pounds. The Zhupanova River float is a true wilderness experience without sacrificing many of the comforts of the lodge as anglers float trip between fixed base camps.
